Juli and Brian met in July, 2009, at a friend’s birthday party. After a few weeks of light hearted talking, they went on their first date on August 20th.

Almost immediately, both Juli and Brian knew where their relationship was heading and they started talking about things they wanted to make sure would be part of their wedding/reception and more importantly, the rest of their lives.

On the evening of July 3, 2011, Juli and Brian were sitting on the hill in Lisle at the Eyes to the Skies Festival and during the firework show, Brian popped the question. Five minutes later he had to ask Juli, “So did you say yes? Because everything is a blur to me.”

Juli Smith was born on September 9, 1981 in Arizona and at the age of 10, moved with her family to IL.
